Weaknesses and Strengths Using Multilink Suspension
Known as Multilink because in
general this suspension using three or more arms of one or more lateral and
longitudinal arm. The arm does not have the same dimensions of length and
magnitude of its angle away from the intended direction.
Typically, each arm has a ball joint
or a rubber bushing in each end. As a result, the arm will react according to
the length, estrangement, and pressure but not bend.
Advantages: It is the simplest
models to carry the orthogonal shape that allows to change the parameters of
the suspension at a time without affecting other parameters. Double Wishbone
not the same as that could have an impact on the change from two to three
parameters. Another value of this suspension is a better level of flexibility,
meaning the suspension can easily adjust various angles even when it is in the
off-road terrain.
Disadvantages: It is said as an
expensive suspension and consists of several parts of the complex. Difficulties
can occur when dispensing facilities size in the absence of three-dimensional
computer analysis.
