The biggest Acadia Acadia is sold as limited to 2017 model.
The
decision was largely a fabrication. Production of the new Acadia will
be in Spring Hill, Tennessee, where the current Acadia is built with its
platform of brothers, the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse, rather
than GM Lansing plant in Michigan .. L enclave and Traverse next
generation will be built in Lansing, but should not be put on sale until
mid-2017.
GM wants to keep a full production program at the Lansing plant until a new product can fill the empty Acadians.
"Given
the fact that these sisters will continue their production vehicles,
the current Acadia will continue to be built to provide another option
for our customers," said Goebel.
This will help buyers compare side
by side the oldest Acadian model shriveled and 2017, leaving the middle
segment. There will be shorter and 7 convert a design to five, six or
seven passengers inches.
The enclave of the next generation and Traverse should be built in versions of long platform of the wheelbase of the new Acadia.
